About The Workshop
Glass Fusion Nevada Suncatcher or Yard Art
Many native Nevadans are proud of their state and this workshop embraces the symbology. Each student will create a 6" state of glass fusion Nevada suncatcher or an option to create a yard art piece that comes with a stake. In-house artist Donna Smit will guide students through an educational lecture on the science of glass, glass cutting, design, as well as using shapes, opacity and transparency of glass to create dimensions and texture. Students will use vitrograph, millefiori, stringers, as well as dichroic glass to add depth and chunkiness. All supplies are included.
Ages 15+. Class limited to eight students
