Glass Fusion Fish Yard Art

Students will create a fish- trout, salmon or colorful tropical fish. Previous glass cutting experienced preferred. Donna Smit, in house glass fusion and mixed media artist, teaches students the use of copper inclusions, enamels, and creating your own clear frit to create scales. The student will also learn about layering glass- transparent and opaque and the use of stringers and frit. Each fish comes with a yard stake. Pieces will be fired and ready for pickup before Father's Day.
